Hello. I know our hearts are with everyone suffering & scared during the COVID-19 pandemic. I want to make sure to inform you of how I'm taking responsible action to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 at North Georgia Yoga/ Yoga Therapy. As the novel coronavirus spreads, we are all faced with questions about how to best care for ourselves & for others, especially in the public Wellness arena. In the absence of a vaccine or treatment – "social distancing", or limiting non-essential gatherings is one way to slow that spread. But for many others, how to proceed responsibly becomes something of a personal quandary, particularly for my profession. As most of you know, I am a self-professed germaphobe & a disinfecting Ninja, especially at the studio, & have always included in my routine cleaning the sanitizing of doorknobs/handles, props & shared spaces, including misting the studio with herbal sanitizing sprays. I am now a SUPER disinfecting Ninja, providing hand sanitizer upon arrival, & will be wearing a mask & gloves during your session. While I have not been out of the house this weekend & in no large gatherings in quite a while, I would rather be over cautious than not.

Please know that I am monitoring the situation, which is evolving rapidly & making contingency plans should I need to make any schedule changes. As always, I know each of you will be mindful not to come for your session if you are sick (fever, coughing, sneezing, etc.) or have been exposed to someone who has these symptoms. Although we will all likely need to alter our habits & plans during the COVID-19 pandemic, perhaps one of the most important steps we can take is to promote the dissemination of accurate information & to avoid panic. A couple of the best resources of reliable public health information remains the World Health Organization & the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). I believe that helping clients/students to continue their practices as they are able is another appropriate support, allowing for your session to work for you during this time to be a sanctuary in your mind & body for peace & freedom of fear, while addressing your Wellness needs. However, it is also a personal decision that will be respected. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.  Let's all stay safe & take care of each other!! Namaste, C.C. 😊
